This is a personal research site. It has no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no comment or contact forms.
What is collected. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. The site is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. I don’t use these logs to identify anyone.
Cookies. The site doesn’t set cookies for visitors. WordPress uses cookies only for me, when I log in to edit the site.
If you email me. If you write to contact@lottieaston.com, I’ll use your name, address and message only to reply to you and, where you’ve offered information about the families, for my research, with your agreement before anything you’ve told me is published. Email is handled by Proton Mail. I don’t share your details with anyone.
Fonts and images. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, not from outside services.
Your rights. You can ask me what I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@lottieaston.com.
